Research question: Does trust in Mette-Marit’s apology change when the official
statement is signed “Sent from my iPhone” versus “Sent from my iPad”?Does trust in Mette-Marit’s apology change when the official
statement is sent from Oslo versus from Hawaii, where she is on holiday? (Hypothesis: sent from Oslo earns more trust.)
Every respondent reads the identical apology — only the signature line differs — and rates
their trust in it from 1 (no trust) to 7 (full trust). Each click fields the survey to a fresh
batch of panel respondents, randomly assigned to a condition.
